About Jagua Tattoos​​

    •    Jagua tattoos gradually develop into a deep blue color, similar to navy, as they oxidize over time.

    •    The tattoo typically lasts approximately 1–3 weeks.

Color intensity and longevity vary depending on placement, skin type, and individual metabolism.

Those with a faster metabolism may notice the color fading sooner.

    •    After application, it takes approximately 24–48 hours for the color to fully develop.

For travel, events, or special occasions, we recommend booking your session 2–3 days in advance.

    •    The estimated application time is around 1.5 hours for a 10 × 10 cm design.

This may vary depending on the design and placement.

    •    The ink used for Jagua tattoos is plant-based. However, clients with allergies to rose-family plants (such as strawberries), nuts, or seeds may experience allergic reactions such as itching or swelling, and therefore cannot receive the treatment.

Clients with sensitive skin may experience temporary redness due to certain ingredients.

Main ink ingredients:

 　•    Color depth varies from person to person. Some tattoos may appear lighter, while others develop a darker, more defined tone. Even for the same individual, results may vary depending on skin condition at the time of application. Dry, cool skin or certain skin types may result in lighter staining.

Important Notes​

【 Before Your Session 】

    •    Please wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated.

    •    If the treatment area has noticeable hair, please shave the area by the day before your session.

    •    To prevent uneven results, please do not apply creams, lotions, or oils to the treatment area on the day of your session.

    •    We cannot perform the procedure on areas with hives, wounds, or injuries.

If you wish to cover scars, please consult us in advance.

    •    Treatment on heavily sunburned skin is not recommended, as peeling may cause the tattoo to fade unevenly.

In some cases, we may decline treatment.

    •    Clients under 18 years of age require parental consent.

【 After Your Session 】

    •    After your session, the applied area must be washed 1–8 hours later (depending on the season and placement).

Please schedule your appointment with this process in mind.

    •    A protective film will be applied before you leave, which helps prevent color transfer to clothing.

However, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing that does not tightly compress the treated area.

    •    Until the area is washed (approximately 1–8 hours), please avoid sweating.

Excess sweat may cause the ink to bleed under the protective film and affect the final result.

Aftercare​

    •    Once the color has developed, please avoid using petroleum jelly or heavy creams, as they may weaken the color.

From day 3 onward, plant-based oils, lotions, and sunscreen may be used.

    •    Jagua tattoos block UV rays on the treated area. If the surrounding skin becomes tanned, the design area may remain lighter and appear as a white silhouette.

Please avoid sun exposure until the tattoo fades.

Sunscreen may be used from day 3 onward.

    •    Please do not apply tattoo cover stickers, bandages, or adhesive tapes over the tattoo after it has developed.

Removing them may lift the outer layer of skin and cause parts of the design to fade.

    •    Jagua tattoos stain only the outermost layer of the skin (the stratum corneum) and fade naturally as the skin regenerates.

Avoiding friction will help the design last longer.
